Hi My phone fell into sea water and stayed there for about 5 minutes, it was on. When I saw it I took out the battery and flushed it with fresh water and have not put back in the battery. I had a friend open it up and he says it is irrepairable, that a lot of the contacts are burnt. What is the possibility of extracting the info from the contacts and pictures?

The only way to extract any information from the cell phone is by getting the phone to power up and communicate with our equipment.  Now if you see burn marks on the phone that is not a good sign, but we have had instances where we were still able to extract information from a phone with burn marks on the board.  It just depends on exactly which components are burned out.

We recommend that you purchase the cell phone water damage repair service and choose the backup option you would like and send the phone to us to work on.
