I don't need anything repaired, but I feel the majority of my phone parts needs to be replaced. The back is made of stainless steel and is tarnishing. There are also a couple other parts I might as send in to get repaired if given the green light from you guys that this is do-able and a prompt return of my phone can be assured. Can someone familiar with the Nokia Luna 8600 respond to the following questions:
1.) Can I purchase the faceplate separate of the glass? (I don't need the glass)
No. You can purchase the Window Lens Glass separately and the Faceplate with the Window Lens Glass separately only.
2.) My phone is over a year old, the text pad is a bit rubbed out. Will replacing it to a new keypad put it back to it's original dexterity? (or will it have the same feel pushing down the button like it did out of the box if I just replace the keypad or is there a panel underneath (separate part) that needs to be replaced for that?)
There is a panel underneath but it is not replaceable and the part is not offered by Nokia, but replacing the keypad will most likely have a big improvement.
3.) I dropped my phone a few times and pieces inside have cracked. Phone still functions but 1. do you recommend it be replaced and 2. if I decide to replace it can I purchase it after you physically review my phone?
I would probably recommend that you purchase our cellphone housing repair service and send the phone in for a full diagnostic first. Once we have looked at it we will email you with an update on what we think must be replaced. At that point you can let us know if you would like any additional parts replaced.
