I dropped my phone, and now the screen is cracked. The touch screen works fine, and nothing is different with my phone except the fact that there is broken glass. Do I need to buy the LCD screen or the glass screen?

    Yes I have a similar question the outside screen for my g1 is cracked but the inner lcd screen still works perfect and from what I understand the inner screen and lcd screen are 1 together I have no insurance on it nor sufficent funds to pay a lot to send it to get it fixed. Is there any home made method I ccan to do to remove the outsiide screen only..and if I do can I still use the touch screen? Please contact me back asap thank you

    I have both screens that are cracked and don't work how much is it for both to replace I want to do it myself

    I have a G1, i love my phone and i realy need it to work and i have talked to multiple other companies about my problem and they seem not to understand my problem, so I'm going to give this another try...... One day i was charging my G1, i got a call. i answered the phone while still on the charger, the call lasted about 5 mins. I hung up the phone and the screen was black and the back was hot so i took the back off and battery out to let it cool off for about 30 mins then i put the battery back in and powered the phone on and the screen looked like static. I hope you can fix this problem please
