Dust under screen of my Blackjack 2
Article Details

Last Updated
6th o December, 2008

I purchased a Blackjack 2 only a couple days ago and already there's a lot of dust under the screen. Is there anyway you can fix this problem?

Usually if your phone is collecting dust underneath the lens it means that the lens was not installed perfectly and there is some kind of small gap where the double sided tape fits connecting the lens to the faceplate.  We have rarely also seen a small defect in the faceplate that has caused this but not normally.  You can find replacement Blackjack 2, SGH-I617 parts including the window lens glass here:

I have had my bj2 less than 30 days and love everything about it except for the dust under the screen problem. I have OCD so not being able to have a spotless screen really bothers me.
