Repair Questions V3 Razor Broken Hinge
Article Details

Last Updated

My Sons Razor V3 has a broken hinge.  This has caused the lcd to stop working I am assuming it is broken wires.  I am somewhat confused by the instructions; are you indicating that the 29.00 fee covers both you looking at it and the repairs, plus any parts that are required? Also what are the shipping costs to/from.

The $29 is for the diagnostic and repair service charge.  It does state that parts are not included in with this service.

The broken hinge is a common issue and you are probably correct about the wire being torn and causing this.  Unfortunately there is no way to know until we have the phone apart and test this theory.

Here what we normally suggest for customers in this situation to do:

Simply click on the link below:

Purchase the repair service.  During checkout you will be prompted to choose the shipping method which you wish the phone returned to you.

Once you have completed and paid for the service you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on how to send the phone to us.

When checking out be sure to take advantage of the Additional Information box to tell us more about the problem you are experiencing and how it happened.  This will expedite the repair of your phone.

Thank you
