LG VX6100 Power/Data Connector Repair
Article Details

Last Updated

Can you repair a broken off (desoldered) power/data tab on the bottom of the LG VX6100 phone? The tab looks OK other than having come off at the solder junction. I can't charge the battery or extract the phonebook data without it - can it be reattached for data extraction?

We can try, but it really depends on how it broke off the board and if the leads on the board are damaged.

In most cases this can be repaired, but we have seen instances where there is too much damage to the board to repair this.

You can purchase the charge port repair and phone backup service by clicking on this link: http://www.cellulardr.com/Cellphone-Charger-Repair-Service.htm

Thank you for your inquiry.  We look forward to helping you with your phone.
