Repair & save phonebook & pictures on Motorola V330
Article Details

I installed a new battery, purchased from TMobile, in my phone and it killed the screen. The keypad however, lit up. Sent the battery back to TMobile and the phone to Motorola who agreed to fix the phone for free, as though it were under warranty. After several phone calls to Motorola's repair people to ask them to be sure to save the data on the phone I was assured that they would - this was on 7/19. Last week they gave me a very hard time and their consumer advocate was even worse. They refused to tell me if they saved the data on the phone or not and in fact sent the phone back without it's battery and with a letter stating the phone had water damage and is deemed irrepairable. This phone has never been near any liquids. Anyway, I need the phone book and the pictures on the phone. Can you tell get the data off the phone, both phonebook and pictures? If so, let me know the cost to get the data, with and without repairing the phone. Barbara

We must get the phone to power up and stay on for several minutes to successfully retrieve the data for you.  The phone must also have a working data port which is the plug next to the charge port.
Simply click on the link below and purchase the repair service and also choose the option for data extraction to CD Backup.
