CINGULAR 8525 White Screen

I was wondering if my Cingular 8525 (HTC HERMES) is possible to repair.  I was using the phone one day and after use the screen flashed white, and keys went unresponsive.  Its been a couple of days now and the same problem exists.  So I tried a reset of the phone and it worked momentarily.  But now it has went back to the white screen.  I can hear all the notifications and still receive calls but cant see my screen at all.  The phone has also never been dropped or handled in any type of wrong manner.  I was wondering what the problem may be? Please help
