Sony P900 Memory Drive Corrupt D: (External Drive For Memory Stick)

Is it possible to fix the Memory Stick Drive on the Sony Ericsson P900. No memory stick will not operate in the unit. When it is powered on it states Disk Corrupt D and the external drive does not show in file manager. Thought the memory stick was bad (corrupt) but tried several brand new memory sticks without success. Can this problem be corrected and if so at what cost? Thanks
