Kyocera KX5 Programming?
Article Details

Last Updated
11th o June, 2007

I have a Kyocera KX5 that I got from a friend of a friend.  It was used on the Cricket network and is unlocked (as far as I can tell).  But my provider is U.S. Cellular. I had them activate it, but it always says "searching...," and if I try to make a call it can not connect. Is it possible, perhaps, that it needs reprogramming to work on the U.S. Cellular network, or is it more likely broken?  Let me know what you think, if you could fix it to where it would work, and roughly how much you think it could cost. It allegedly worked prior to it coming into my hands. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Robert
