Button Problems after phone fell in water
Article Details

Last Updated

My phone fell in water. Everything works except the up and left scroll button and numbers 1,2,3,4 and 0.
I just purchased the keypad assembly kit and it's still not working.
What should I try next?

I highly recommend that you purchase the Liquid Damage Repair service and send the phone in to be completely cleaned out.  Here is the link for this service and you can read more about what water or any kind of liquid can do to the phone to stop it from working:

I droped my phone in the toilet. Spring repair won't touch cause of the water damage policy. Now the only thing that doesn't work right is the ket pad. Some keys wokr but while others don't at all. I have a Samsung SPH-A900 should I send it in under the catagory keypad don't work and also select waterdamage clean?
